At the heart of Thinking Huts is family, and we are excited to have you join ours.

At Thinking Huts, we leverage humanitarian-driven, innovative 3D printing technology to increase global access to education by reducing the overall construction time of schools and creating local jobs to empower thriving communities. 

In 2025, we are expanding our efforts to build more schools and create lasting change. To achieve this, we rely on experienced professionals who are passionate about using their skills for a meaningful cause. Your industry expertise can directly contribute to making education more accessible worldwide.

As a nonprofit, our success depends on the generosity of skilled volunteers. We are currently seeking professionals with expertise in various fields to support our mission. All roles are voluntary and part-time, with an expected minimum commitment of 5–10 hours per week. Additional contributions are always welcome. The CRM Manager will represent the organization and be a key contributor to partner development. The ideal volunteer will draw from their client/partner/account development expertise to grow the organization’s network, reach high-potential areas, and identify new relationships with sponsors and brand partnerships.

Key responsibilities: 

  • Analyze different shopping behaviors and approach potential patrons and decision-makers through their preferred channels

  • Keep the team updated on digital activities and encourage proactive use of digital tools to maximize donor experience

  • Proactively propose and organize activities and targeted actions for individual high-net work connections, other donor groups, and brand partnerships

  • Act as a contact point for operations and between brands to maintain partnerships

  • Develop brand partnerships and build pathways to loyal relationships with VIP donors

  • Organize meetings on behalf of the CEO with interested donors, to support the development of personal relationships with top supporters, and increase philanthropic impact

Desired experience with:

CRM Manager

The Digital Marketers will drive the brand strategy and integration functional alignment of all donation campaigns and oversee the execution of seasonal marketing campaigns. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop integrated marketing plans for campaigns, working in close partnership with cross-functional teams and coordinating with key stakeholders

  • Author and deliver marketing strategy briefs 

  • Ensure cohesive and consistent messaging across prospective and existing donor groups 

  • Collaborate with digital, social, and website teams to create 360-degree  marketing plans

  • Be the eyes, ears, and voice of the target donor groups, leveraging your understanding of insights, demographics, and psychographics to influence marketing initiatives

  • Conversion rate optimization

  • Content creation and video editing

Digital Marketer

This role requires creativity, organizational skills, and experience in event planning and donor engagement. The ideal candidate will work closely with sponsors, vendors, volunteers, and stakeholders to ensure successful event execution. Preferably located in Los Angeles or San Francisco Bay Area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute fundraising/advocacy events, including dinners, galas, charity auctions, benefit concerts, community activations, and virtual events.

  • Develop event concepts that align with the organization’s mission and fundraising goals.

  • Manage event logistics, including venue selection, vendor coordination, budgeting, and scheduling.

  • Secure sponsorships, partnerships, and in-kind donations to support events.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to develop event marketing and outreach strategies, including social media, email campaigns, and donor invitations/RSVPs.

  • Work closely with the fundraising team to set and achieve financial goals for each event.

  • Oversee event registration, guest lists, and donor relations before, during, and after events.

  • Recruit and manage event volunteers for the overall coordination including the day of logistics, ensuring effective roles and responsibilities.

  • Ensure compliance with permits, contracts, and organizational policies.

  • Evaluate event success through data analysis, attendee feedback, and financial reporting.

Desired experience with:

  • Strong project management, ability to go from ideation to implementation, and managing day-of logistics

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.

  • Community and network growth of new supporters

  • Knowledge of fundraising strategies and donor engagement best practices.

  • Proficiency in event management software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office.
